For over fifteen years, the "about" section on my professional sites was an overview of my work in an attempt to convey who I was, what I do, and why I'm a person worth reaching out to - whether it be for a personal reason, or to work with me. You can still find that bio if you click on the "bio" link below. I wanted to use this little section to say, hello.
My name is Travis Flores. I have Cystic Fibrosis, and I am a two-time double-lung transplant recipient.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to come here and learn more about me. Time is the most valuable thing we have in our lives. It's more precious than any physical gift we can give or receive, and it's the only thing in our lives that is permanent. We cannot get time back, but we can choose do important things, creating positive memories that we can look back on with gratitude forever.
I am grateful that you are here reading this. I hope that my story can somehow inspire you, encourage you, and maybe ignite a passion within you that will help change your life for the better.
I am an author / writer, a speaker, and a producer. I believe in creating materials that tell amazing, authentic stories that help society have different perspectives on the world, and all those within it.
I recently found out that my second double-lung transplant is in chronic organ-rejection. I am in need of a third double-lung transplant. However, I am still writing, speaking, seeking new partnerships with charities whose mission / programs I believe in, and producing content that shares compelling stories. I am open to new working relationships and collaborations. Please feel free to contact me through the information provided below. Thank you so much again for giving me this time.
Travis Flores has spent 28 years battling Cystic Fibrosis. For the last 15 years, his goal has been to help others through his story. Recently, however, Travis found out he's in need of a third double-lung transplant due to complications with his current transplanted organs. With constant life and death scenarios, Travis has discovered the importance of positivity, and unlocked inner super-abilities that he's sharing with audiences from around the world.
